No More Guns for You, Liam

After Irish-born actor Liam Neeson shot off his mouth about Americans’ fondness for guns — you know, the things he uses in his hit action movies — the company that provided the weapons for the latest installment in the Taken series decided it had had enough:

"PARA USA regrets its decision to provide firearms for use in the film “Taken 3″. While the film itself is entertaining, comments made by its Irish-born star during press junkets reflect a cultural and factual ignorance that undermines support of the Second Amendment and American liberties. We will no longer provide firearms for use in films starring Liam Neeson and ask that our friends and partners in Hollywood refrain from associating our brand and products with his projects. Further, we encourage our partners and friends in the firearms industry to do the same."

And what exactly was it that Neeson said?

At an event in Dubai, Neeson said: “First off, my thoughts and prayers and my heart are with the deceased, and certainly with all of France, yesterday. I’ve got a lot of dear friends in Paris. There’s too many f—ing guns out there. Especially in America. I think the population is like, 320 million? There’s over 300 million guns. Privately owned, in America. I think it’s a f—ing disgrace.

I think Leann Neeson is a f___ing disgrace. A hypocritical, ignorant fascistic f___ing disgrace, and I’ll never watch another one of his movies.

Like all the self-perceived elites, Liam thinks that the right of self-protection are only for a privileged few—him and his bodyguards. The rest of us are expendable.

We should make sure his movies get a short run in theaters, and an even shorter run on the dollar discount DVD rack at the grocery store.

He’s busted his ass to make it to America, and to get into movies, and then insults the very population he hopes to get rich from...pathetic.

The whinnies who hate guns, and violence, are not the ones who flock to his movies...and now looks as if he’s trying to alienate the rest of America.

What is it with today’s world...politicians want to be actors, and actors want to run the country.

To your assessment, I’d say at best his “stuff” is weak & stringy. From the tree of Irish artists, this apple rolled far ‘n away. The first flic I recall seeing Neeson in was Eastwood’s “Dead Pool”. Predictably his skills haven’t improved in the intervening 25-years or so. He must have one terrific agent though.

There aren't an awful lot of privately owned full-auto AK47s and RPGs in the Unites States. In America, privately owned, legally -- a handful of the former and zero examples of the latter. The weapons used in France were black market military arms. He's an idiot. He doesn't know what he's talking about. He should, as Laura Ingraham put it, just "Shut up and sing."

He also played Schindler in Schindler’s List. Strange how so many actors from movies about the Nazis and Germany are clueless progressives.

This guy needs to take a good look at the killings in France done by the Islamo heroes of Obama, which by the way is why Obama didn’t send anybody over there to join in the mass protest, because he SUPPORTS radical Islam. There is not even an argument about that now, the evidence is overwhelming that Democraps in all their brilliance put the enemy in the White House and Congress refuses to do anything about it which to me makes them 100% complicit.

Anyway, France has some of the strictest gun laws in the world not even the cops have them which is completely insane and what was the result? The Islamo heroes of Obama got their guns in another country, probably the Balkans, and brought them into France, they had a HUGE arsenal of Kalashnikovs, grenades, even rocket launchers! and killed the people and even the Muslim cop like they were sitting ducks.

Reminds me of when I lived in the liberal sewerhole of New York city the billionaire Mayor at the time Mike Bloomberg who is another ass from Assachusetts by the way, like the current Mayor and Police commissioner (what is it with that anyway?), who are all protected 24/7 by armed guards refused and still refuse to allow Aux. cops to carry guns. And what happened? Two were shot execution style while chasing a perp. And STILL afterwards he would not allow them to carry guns. Incredible! To me that is treason, that is willingly and knowingly giving criminals the advantage over law enforcement.

http://gothamist.com/2007/03/15/cop_shot_on_hou.php

Here is the video of the two Aux. cops being executed. What does it look like? Exactly like the cop killed in France. This is murder assisted by liberals, usually liberals who are protected by guns. I can’t watch this video, it ticks me off too much. It’s not graphic, it’s a video from a CCTV, but it is absolutely enraging. Two young guys in their early 20s assassinated because subhuman pieces of rat filth denied them their right to self protection.

Tens of millions of Russians and Chinese were disarmed and slaughtered by their own governments. What does he think of that? I’ll keep my crazy American guns, thank you.

He’s another sheep.

Curious logic. He begins to comment on the horrific slaughter committed by Moslem in France then makes a mental leap to the millions of law-abiding Americans who own guns.

He's not bright. However, he is well trained in leading the discussion in an Alinskyesque manner toward the desired, though not logical, conclusion: the mere presence of guns anywhere on earth is a threat to human lives and must be confiscated ("Privately owned.") for our own safety.

I wonder how many firearms he owns? I'm pretty sure he owns a sprawling ranch in some rustic semi-wilderness (Sandpoint, Idaho?) where he enjoys shooting. At the very least he must have range time to prepare for his diverse (cough) roles.

I hope more gun companies do this. To have Hollywood leftists essentially “advertise” their products, then slander them later, is not good business. It may even be actionable in some circumstances.

The NRA list of anti-gun celebrities is a comprehensive list of anti-gun celebrities, especially those who belong to anti gun organizations.

It’s a free country, and they have a right to their stupid and oppressive beliefs. But they, their producers and directors, do not have the right to use those same products they disparage for any discount.

Was asked to go with friends to Taken 3 yesterday. Told them no way.

He’s just like Jackie Chan and George Lopez spitting on the country who made them famous. Just like Marg Helgenberger, Sylvester Stallone and Shania Twain being hypocrites.

Mr. Neeson, please stand advised that in the unlikely event I should ever want your opinion, I shall see to it that one actually worth having is issued to you.

That is all.
