Well, I'll leave it at this: This issue it seems that the slavery card has been pushed and played so hard and long, many people, even a good number of our allies have been brainwashed and all critical thinking has stopped. I often wonder how the War Between the States was taught in schools back 120 years ago, 100 years ago, or even 70 years ago.

Well, I'll leave it at this: This issue it seems that the slavery card has been pushed and played so hard and long, many people, even a good number of our allies have been brainwashed and all critical thinking has stopped.And again I'll invite you to read the speeches and political declarations of the men who who southern secession and show me where anything seems to be cited with anywhere near the frequency of slavery as the proximate cause for their actions. If the slavery card as the cause for the Civil War embarrasses you, blame the southerners who created a deck with 51 cards marked "slavery" and one card marked "tariffs and stuff."
