If there were women coaches in this game, it would have ended in a tie and everybody would have gotten ice cream and gone home happy.
Because in high school the boys basketball coach is also usually the girls team coach too. Girls one semester, boys in the other.
I think you are slandering women coaches. Long ago, in my youth, I went to a quite small 4-year liberal arts college. I was on the basketball team. (One of the advantages of going to a small school. In a big school, I would have never made the team!) The college could only afford two coaches, one male and one female. The female coach coached both basketball teams. She definitely did not like losing. And, she wasn’t nice if you broke training or let your grades fall. For the size of the school, both male and female basketball teams were pretty darned good!
