Most New Yorkers didn’t approve of police officers turning their backs on Mayor Bill de Blasio at the funerals of two officers shot to death in their patrol car, or of the comment by a union leader that the mayor had “blood on his hands,”

Progressives hoped that de Blasio will become a national figure. But instead of a triumphant entry on the national stage, he became famous as the man whom the NYPD turned its back on.

And the DNC Convention he was hoping to host in NYC is looking for a less troubled city.....like Detroit. Progressive plans fall apart in New York City faster than anywhere else because the city has a small land area and a dense population. There are entire NYC neighborhoods that are no-go zones...... and so much diversity that you need to know six languages to cross the street. (D/G article FR posted)
