The sea level rise is obvious. That’s why all the zillionaires around the world with the insider knowledge and connections have quit building on the coasts and are dumping their ocean front properties and fleeing to high ground.

I know they know it is hoax. I know they know I know it is a hoax and it make them mad. Somebody call this thing a ruse and be done with it.

More ocean means more whales. Seems like a recipe for disaster to me.

Well, where I live, the nearby mountains are rising about an inch a year due to earthquakes, so I guess it about evens out.

Highway 1, through the Florida Keys was built in 1938 and is still above sea level. However, Argentina and the Falkland Islands (300 mi away.) were connected during the last ice age about 100,000 years ago because the sea level retreated 200 to 400 feet.

There are two obvious reasons this article is pure BS: it’s published in Santa Cruz and it’s written by Seth Bornenstein, AP’s number one propagandist for AGW. The man is absolutely nuts and a liar of the first magnitude.

If sea levels are rising, why is their an ancient beach near Henry Cole State Park at 2000ft alt just outside of Santa Cruz?

Or better yet, why did San Francisco burn down a portion of the Redwood Forest near Santa Cruz to extract lime to rebuild SF after the 1906 earthquake?

Or why in over 100 years, no one bothered to replant the Redwoods they burned down?

I’ve been to the ancient beach site and seen the kilns where they burned the trees.

Sea level looks the same to me.
When is someone going to challenge these fabricated stories.

You know what else I noticed? Lots more trees in the present. That is a common thing too. Back in the 90s I went to the library and got copies of the oldest photos of the region I could where I could find out where the photographer was standing. Then I went there and took a picture. About 95% of the time, the area photographed was greener in the present, and had far less trees in the past.

This is an out rate lie. Not true. Made up. The left will stoop to any level to support their religion.

And where did all the water come from if global ice is at or near a record high.

Isn’t it amazing how much we have to worry about non-existant man-made global warming, and yet when it comes to a serious issue people can see for themselves like Obama’s destruction of our nation, there’s no concern whatsoever.

Tell you what folks, if we survive Obama we can then begin to worry about this nonsense. Until we do, we damn well better fix that damn global worming.

No Living quarters within 1/8 mile from ANY Shoreline in the State it seems to me that's the envirowackos entire goal and wetdream - to remove humans from coastal areas by means of legislation based on false propaganda.

You are Correct , it is False Propaganda, but the majority of the people living in these areas about to be Flooded by rising tides, are PROUD LIBERALS that have been pushing this FRAUD from the beginning.

Just Abolishing the FAIR plan would suffice. Why should Taxpayers underwrite for LIBERALS something they say is Guaranteed to happen to THEM?

I guess that explains why Guam suddenly disappeared.

No, you have it backwards. Guam tipped over, and that caused the ocean level to rise. It's like dropping a rock into a bucket of water.

The seas are not rising ... at all. Not faster, not slower, not falling. Nothing...is...happening...to...the...sea level.

[[False, sea level rise is actually de-cellerating, NOT increasing faster.]]

It doesn’t matter what the actual truth is anymore, the global alarmists have redefined what truth is now- now the ‘truth’ is that sea levels are rising (DESPITE the actual evidence to the contrary) AND ‘Man is causing climate change’ DESPITE the FACT that man’s contribution of CO2 to the atmosphere is just 3.4%, and the TOTAL ATMOSPHERIC CO2 level is just 0.04%- the rest of the atmosphere, 99.996% is completely free of CO2- There is no way in hell just 0.04% of the atmosphere can be causing global climate change, but the actual truth doesn’t matter anymore- the new ‘truth’ is that man is causing climate change- period- it’s ‘settled science’, and ‘not open to debate any longer’ according to these LIARS who have dictated what truth is now-

No matter how m uch evidence we put forth to show their lies to be lies, the world has now accepted the idea that man is causing climate change, and that sea levels are ‘rising much faster than we once thought’ and that we’re all doomed unless we forfeit most of our hard earned cash to ‘combat global warming’

and in other shocking news, sea levels rose after the last ice age ended and mile thick glaciers melted away, making the seas rise feet- many feet mostl ikely leaving behind the great leakes and basins filled with water- and the world survived just fine back then- My goodness, whatever are we going to do when the seas rise 3-4 inches?
