I did indeed Sally Forth today - a little later than usual. I took a later train in than I usually do.

I'm feeling much better, thank you - finally! Still some minor congestion, but not anything like a few days ago. I will go to Choir tomorrow evening - my voice is still in sad shape - hopefully, by Sunday will have enough voice to contribute to the Liturgy.

It has been cold here - we bought another 1/2 cord of firewood - much needed. A few nights ago we were getting ready to start breaking up furniture. :)

Pete Carroll is one of the most hateful individuals I have ever seen. At Southern Cal, he regularly ate my Fighting Irish for breakfast. In the NFL, he has destroyed my Redskins, along with every other team in sight. I have little hope for the Packers.

Hateful, yes - probably the greatest coach in recent history, both college and pro.

How I hate him!!!

Thanks, Mac....I’m safely home and itchy.

Only 2 hours sleep last night, a major cold has invaded my head, and I think early bed sounds like a plan.

WELCOME TO THE

(where our troops, allies
and their families can refresh themselves)

Good morning, Everyone.

Good morning to our

Military, our Allies, and their families.

Thank you, Ma, for preparing the Canteen
for today's activities
Making a quick stop to check out what those wonderful
military people have been up to.

Guess what. Woke up to warmer temps this morning.
Around freezing temps but it's warmer than the teens.
And, we will be near 40 by this afternoon.
Come on spring!

The FR Canteen is

Come in, sit down.
Grab a cup of joe, or tasty tea.
Mingle a bit, chat with the troops
or family member.
There's always plenty of conversation, silliness,
and plain old BS in the FR Canteen.

REMEMBER THEM ~ DEFENDERS OF FREEDOM

FR CANTEEN MISSION STATEMENT

Showing support and boosting the morale of our military and our allied military and the family members of the above. Honoring those who have served before.
