Democrats will appoint Muslim to the House Intelligence Committee who said US schools should be like Islamic madrassas and warned law enforcement that 'Allah will not allow you to stop us'
House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi is set to appoint a Muslim lawmaker to the Intelligence Committee, congressional aides said Tuesday, giving him access to some of America's most closely held secrets in the war on terror.
The move will come as the world is still grappling with an al-Qaeda death squad's massacre last week of journalists at the French satire magazine Charlie Hebdo, executed because they had published a cartoon of the Muslim prophet Muhammad.
Rep. André Carson has attracted suspicion for his public statements, including a 2012 Islamic Circle of North America convention where he said America's schools should be modelled after Qur'anic madrassas.
Moments later he warned undercover law enforcement skulking around the event looking for 'secret meetings' that 'Allah will not allow you to stop us.'

The FBI should not grant this guy a security clearance beyond being cleared for rumors.
I guess the hijab and no schools for girls and women treated as chattel don’t count in that “war on women”.
Does the FBI conduct a background investigation before allowing him to receive intelligence info? top secret clearances required??
Do the CIA or FBI (or Interpol)have a file on him??

If he is going to be on the House Intel Committe, I would suspect that the minimum level clearance is Top Secret although some positions may be cleared at the Secret level.

I don’t think just a secret level satisfies need for security. Years ago I needed secret clearance to just see and do some upfront work in a missile program.

I will try. The search for Utopia is what drives liberals, always thinking they have the key to paradise. Electric cars, no sick old people, eating vegetables, no unwanted children, no need for guns, everyone equal, loving the unlovables, and trusting even those who kill others. I honestly believe liberals are inwardly hateful and spiteful people, who overestimate their intelligence and they attempt to fool themselves and others by pretending to care.

The total number of committee slots allotted to each party is approximately the same as the ratio between majority party and minority party members in the full Chamber.
