I have a CD of a group called "PAPA DOO RUN RUN" - California Beach Party Band - Beach Boys ... Papa Doo Run Run, sometimes known as Pappa Do Ron Ron - surf band, is not only a Beach Boys Tribute band, but a tribute to all classic rock and surf music. Their Beach Party act includes all the hits of the Beach Boys, and Jan and Dean ...
They actually do the Beach Boys better than the Beach Boys ...they used the same studio and the same scores. You listen and you say "yup, that's them, wait, no it's not, yes it is ..."

Well done. Send it to Rush.

sounds better than the 3 founding BB members (with a back up band) we heard last week. Their big thing was that they had John Stamos on the drums (had never heard of him)

I watched 30 seconds of it, and decided to puke. Nothing funny about Americans that think that this is normal. If you want to pay their way, then fine. Maybe I am just becoming insensitive... but the time for jokes is over. YOU PAY THEIR WAY and leave me alone.

Why would these guys make this video if they agree with what is going on? They wouldn’t bother.
This is a lampoon. It’s sarcastic, and mean to trash what is taking place.

Me neither - for some weird reason I like Poppa better than the BB - it seems their renditions are more upbeat esp. Rhonda ....

As a fan of the Beach Boys, I thought that was very well done.
Sadly though, it is true.
