Was he planning on running as a Democrat?
Between direct fund-raising and outside groups, it’s going to take a BILLION DOLLARS to even be competitive in 2016.
If you don’t have a line on the Big Busks, don’t even bother.

Otherwise bunch of conservative versus lone RINO Jeb...
Repeat of 2012!
Don’t forget NJFatboy on the RINO side.
No, he’s going for RINO VP again.

Dave Brat spent $231,000 to Cantor’s $5.7 million. That’s less than 4% of the total spent by both, and Brat trounced him. Granted, the stars were really aligned, and it was an anomaly. Nevertheless, it can happen.
Yeah NJ Fats please throw in your hat in the ring!
I will vote for you! wink wink
Good, I wouldn’t have voted for him anyway. Voted for his dad, though, once.
Good, it will save me the trouble of not voting for him!
My how that committee has fallen since the days of Dan "Rosty" Rostenkowsky. Back then, the chair was ALWAYS referred to as the "powerful" House Ways and Means Committee Chairman. Now, it is merely "influential".
It seems even the vermin at NBC are not foolish enough to associate the word "powerful" with anything pertaining to the GOPe.
Paul Ryan removes himself from the Presidential mix for 2016
