Ronan Farrow: 'Everyone' I Spoke With Understands Absence of Top US Officials from Paris March
NewsBusters ^ | Mark Finkelstein

Tuning to Ronan Farrow's MSNBC show today, I was surprised to find him in Paris, and asked myself: what is he doing there?

One thing shortly became clear, he wasn't talking to a wide range of people. Because in discussing the absence of any top US officials from President Obama on down from the Paris march yesterday, Farrow claimed that "everyone here that I spoke to personally said they understood the limitations of schedule that led to that." Everyone? Really, Ronan? What kind of bubble do you float in?

Gee, we missed a totally useless candlelight vigil? That’s a shame. How about the trillions in dollars and thousands of dead, and many more thousands of wounded U.S. troops. Europe wants “unity”. Then put some blood and treasure on the line.

Here in this case - he just pissed off the Euro-weenies who previously supported him.

EVERYTHING obama does either:

a) Weakens America/Americans
b) Distances America's allies
c) Strengthens America's enemies
d) Serves Islam
e) Harms Israel
Or some combination of the above.
I have yet to have anyone raise a single substantive counter example in several years of posting this.

It was a great blunder of responsibility. It is historic.

Let's not attach more importance to this stupid march than there needs to be.

I’m sorry, but even I know that 36 hours notice is not enough time to get the President to Paris. The flight alone is 8 hours. Logistically it was not possible.

Our Ambassador and many ex-pats part of the march. That should be enough.

Let’s get fired up about the stuff that really matters.

Right. Not making this trip only solidifies the US as the Rhode Island of the world.

It’s idiocy to think that the President or even the moron Biden doesn’t belong at a function attended by a million people and 44 world leaders.

Ronan Farrow: 'Everyone' I Spoke With Understands Absence of Top US Officials from Paris March...you bet - the whole world understands that Obama's a weak, feckless and deluded man who's not bright enough to know the dangers we face or how we must demonstrate solidarity in facing them...... -
