It took 18 posts to get to that. A HS Grad today is working on what was probably no more than the 7th grade level in 1950. The current crop of pubic skroolers and their instructors simply have little or no factual or practical knowledge.
At an Ohio car plant, 18 year-olds had to be taught to use screwdrivers in the "Work Hardening" training process. Many could not read well enough to handle the written instructions on the assembly tags coming down the line.
Scotland is one of the few countries that has a semi-functional education system that quickly divides students onto Educational OR Training tracks.
The difference? Think Sex Ed, or Sex Training. One is more mental than physical.
How about free two years at Yale, Harvard, or Cal Poly? Shouldn’t people who go to those school have the same “rights” of “free education”? /s
I have that on the back of my car, too.
If they want to go to school so badly, they need to join the armed forces or get a scholarship. But if Mr. Obama starts handing out free tuition, what will motivate young people to go into the military or strive for good grades?

ANY heating and air specialist, mechanic, plumber, electrician,welder,ect. WILL always make more money than the college grad unless of course they are a lobbyist in D.C.!!!!!! There are many kids with HS diploma working in the oil industry making BIG bucks, it is VERY hard work but pays extremely well!!!! Problem is WE have a work ethic problem in this country kids have been spoiled and have NO idea what really hard work is they want to be the CEO right out of college and have been taught to believe they are OWED this after graduating!!!!!!
