Yes. He is pro obama for president too. He is also a moderate who wants his ‘people’ to take responsibility for their own actions. He pisses the black left off when he makes such statements

Cosby isn’t a moderate.

He is an Obama backing, Al Sharpton helping, republican hating, racist, liberal.

A few lines about pull up your pants in 2004 doesn’t change that, and it did not lead to a vast conspiracy to bring him down, involving 30 different women accusing him of groping, drugging and rape, women from various states and cities and claims involving 5 decades, and women currently in age from 24, through their mid 70s, police reports in 2000 and 2004, and an out of court settlement in 2006.

...Later, after Bill Cosby made millions and stepped from behind the actor's mask to take his message directly to the people, he told absent black fathers to shape up and they could win life's lottery. The color of skin, he said, is only one element in becoming who you are.

His overt political message was about education, discipline, self-reliance, self-respect. He refused to blame racism for continuing to keep his people down. In 1997, when his son was murdered while fixing a flat at the side of the Hollywood Freeway, his wife Camille wrote a bitter op-ed in USA Today, blaming white racism. Her husband nevertheless kept up his rhetoric against bad ghetto behavior, black-on-black crime, demeaning rap music and irresponsible black baby daddies who abandon their children.

In commemorating the 50th anniversary of the Brown v. Board Education decision mandating the desegregation of the nation's schools, he famously scolded a kid for stealing a slice of pound cake: “If you get caught with it, you're going to embarrass your mother.”

Many in the black establishment attacked the rich entertainer as an “Afristocrat” who blamed the poor for being the poor. But if white liberals and black militants didn't like what they perceived as “blaming the victim,” his speech was regarded as an act of “empowerment” in black churches, barbershops and barbecue joints. The message entered the black mainstream, pushing blacks forward from “victims to victors” in the tradition of Booker T. Washington's appeal to “black self-sufficiency” at the turn of the 20th Century.

One of the sad consequences of the fall of Bill Cosby is the exposure of his cynicism. Can his virtuous message survive? It must. We can't let the disgrace of the messenger kill the message.

So, that doesn’t change the facts of Bill’s politics, your conspiracy theory is silly.

Why don’t you start explaining who and how such a grand and complex conspiracy could be done?

Cosby isn’t a moderate.

He is an Obama backing, Al Sharpton helping, republican hating, racist, liberal.

A few lines about pull up your pants in 2004 doesn’t change that, and it did not lead to a vast conspiracy to bring him down, involving 30 different women accusing him of groping, drugging and rape, women from various states and cities and claims involving 5 decades, and women currently in age from 24, through their mid 70s, police reports in 2000 and 2004, and an out of court settlement in 2006.

You seem to be getting insulting so I will not continue this anymore

I did not make a definitive claim....only my thoughts on possibilities. But you, it seems, like to argue ad nauseum about something that I did not say, so you can have fun arguing with yourself.

You seem to think this is all a conspiracy to take him down for that 2004 speech, it is reasonable for someone to point out how absurd that is, if for nothing else, the vast and incredible scale such a conspiracy would need to involve so many diverse and unconnected accusers and years of media and police reports and even Cosby’s own settlement with one of his victims.

If you notice, the man is rich and powerful and as far as the public knew, a beloved Hollywood giant for 50 years, yet no one is coming to his defense, there is no “shock”, or “outrage”, Bill Cosby is accused of being a serial rapist since the mid 1960s, yet the people who knew him best for these 50 years, aren’t showing up to explain to us how impossible that is.

The silence is deafening, even his best friend at the Playboy mansion is not defending him.

How about this. A woman accuses a rich man of notoriety of rape, starts getting media attention, possibilities of cash settlements and book deals.

How long before other women that worked with that man start thinking, hey I want some of that money too! Run to the nearest news service and scream, I wuz raped too! Interview me! Get me my lawyer!

No one in Hollywood defending him?

Hollywood defended Clinton but that waned, then being burned Weiner style time after time, the defense is sporadic and lackluster for any politician. Let alone a black man who succeeded despite Hollywood and never held office.

Besides being crazy racist like most leftist groups, Hollywood eats its own.

Protest outside.

The man might be a pig, but he has not been arrested, indicted, or convicted. He has a right to make a living.

Except that doesn’t apply, so why give a fake scenario?

Constand isn’t his first accuser, and most of those women from a decade ago remained anonymous, Conastand never wrote a book on it either.

Few of these women and girls worked with Cosby.

All in all, you are merely posting cynical sounding nonsense that does not apply to this long running tale of at least 14 years, and more than a decade of press coverage, it also doesn’t explain the women describing him going back to the 60s, who will never benefit or gain from their simple supporting statements.

This is a lot more than a couple of L.A. girls, and some bad publicity and a greedy lawyer, this is a story on a massive scale, one that a 400 million dollar man should have been able to prevent with lawsuits and destruction of his accusers if it was just one or two fakes, and he had never raped anyone.

Wacky Canadians.

Your many posts on “The Coz” have helped set the record straight on what this monster was doing to young naive aspiring actresses who looked to him for some help. And just about all were white so I look at this as hate crimes/rapes.

“Proof”??

LOL... that is so outdated! Heck, the need or relevance for proof died the minute the Obamas walked into the White House.

So, in keeping with the new normal - the Obama normal, I think he’s guilty as hell and..... I don’t need no stinkin’ proof.

You,re on the fence, I take.

I have seen the feminist rape culture gladly use unfounded accusations to destroy men with no evidence and no risk. If they lie there is no counter-measure and a man can not get his reputation back. I have also the hysteria the media is able to whip up and their glee at taking men down. Further I have seen the definition of rape expanded to include regrets from sex that happened years in the past. Am I to believe that a woman drinking and snorting in the playboy mansion was required to be drugged get it on with a black celebrity? One hundred lairs to make the false true. IN the climate of rape hysteria or accusations that someone is a witch in 1692, both are liable and impossible accusations to defend against.

I do not know if Bill Cosby is a serial rapist, but I do desire to dis-empower the feminist rape hysteria and their power to destroy innocent men with merely an unchallenged word.

Very, very few ... A handful were involved with the Playboy Mansion. And NONE were involved with drugs either injected or snorted.

I suspect you are one of the Cosby Truthers,

You,re some strange folks.

Andrea Constand, director of operations for Temple University’s women’s basketball team

“Constand told Ontario police in January 2005 that a year prior, when she was 31, she had visited Cosby at his home in Pennsylvania seeking career advice. (Constand, an Ontario native, worked at the time for Temple University, Cosby’s alma mater.) Constand alleges he gave her “herbal” pills for anxiety, then “touched her breasts and vaginal area, rubbed his penis against her hand, and digitally penetrated” her. The Pennsylvania prosecutor who looked into the case has said that while he didn’t bring charges because the available evidence was not sufficient, he found Constand “credible” and found Cosby “evasive.” After prosecutors declined to charge him, Constand filed a civil suit against Cosby for $150 million; her suit cited, anonymously, 13 other women who alleged that he had sexually assaulted them. (Some of those women, referred to as “Jane Does” in legal language, have since identified themselves publicly and are mentioned below. The identities of Jane Doe witnesses are disclosed to defendants so their testimony can be fairly researched and challenged, but they are not ID’d by name in court or in public records.) Cosby’s attorney called Constand’s claims “utterly preposterous.” The suit was settled for an undisclosed amount in 2006.”
