I try to console myself with the fact that pythons, fire ants, and some parasites don’t survive the kind of cold weather that we experience here in the north east.

fire ants, and some parasites don’t survive the kind of cold weather that we experience here in the north east. Dang sure didn't hurt the fire ants down here.
Ran the bush hog over about 50-60 nests in the backyard yesterday.
Some of the nests were a foot tall.

Usually use Amdro, works pretty good.
Bopping them with the bush hog usually takes care of half of them.
