An accountant at a New York ad firm leaped to his death because he was hallucinating that the mannequins at his Manhattan office were chasing him, it was claimed today. David Caquais, 43, opened at window at Catch NY on the fourth floor of a building in Manhattan's Garment District and jumped out about 9pm on January 2. The New York Post reports that Mr Caquais screamed 'They're after me! They're after me!' as he ran around his office and attempted to kick out windows.

400 to you!

Maybe those kittens’ mom got out.

Jake has turned up again. Maybe he was watching the dragons. I haven’t seen Shannon at all; she gets in bed with Tom sometimes.

Yay 400!

I miss snuggling with a kitty. I’ve got stuffed animals in my bed. I think that’s the worst thing about being single. No one to snuggle with.

Do you know there is an entry on Wikipedia about the cat righting reflex?

How neat is this?

It’s true that stuffed animals don’t produce any body heat. On the other hand, they don’t kick or meow.

I think there was a “Smarter Every Day” science video about this.

Present and accounted for, though in slightly used condition.

Sparkle got lovey again last night, and totally without warning, she clawed my arm and bit through the skin. Not sure how to deal with this. I need to research it. In the meantime, I’m going to brush her so she doesn’t have immediate reach of my arms. She drew some serious blood last night, what with my fragile skin.

She just gets so excited, she forgets I’m not a cat or a toy, I’m sure.

Oh, dear! Tea-tree oil is disinfectant, or try Windex.

Poorly socialized, the poor kitteh. Hope you don’t have to sleep in a coat!

The problem with digs like this is that the first thing you have to do is dispose of a body or two.

It’s usually in the vitamins section at Walmart, in a little brown bottle with a yellow label.

If your arm starts getting inflamed, run-don’t-walk to Urgent Care for an antibiotic shot!

I take enough olive leaf extract that it should take care of any bacteria from outside sources, so I’m not worried about that. Man-made antibiotics don’t work too well on me. I took so many of them early on in CFIDS that the doctor finally put me on Augmentin, and even that was useless after a while. So I stick with olive leaf. It works.

I am cursing this computer today, and my efforts. While it was in the shop they installed all the programs they wanted me to have, and I can’t do the work I need to do on the documents I have stored.

Well, Crusoe did have his whole weekend free.

Lovely dresses. I hope they’re not purchased by pin heads, though.

They should be easy to put on.
