Good question, especially considering they tend to be clustered and not uniformly dispersed. Note also, there is a shortage of PPE.

Consider also, a level 4 facility is a level 4 facility and not limited to Ebola, provided the ventilation system is set up right (so known airborne diseases can be treated there also).

The cynical will say this is just another opportunity to spend public money (or divert it), but assuming the facilities have been modified, it is likely they will have fewer than 10 beds each. that would be a max of 480 patients. Not many, considering the possibilities if there is even one major outbreak.
