Let’s see...to go half-tiime to community college in my county costs $918 a semester. It’s a high wage county, so even a burger flipper job will pay $10. So if you’re even willing to work an extra 10 hours a week at almost anything, you can more than cover that cost. Sure, it’s not easy, but what’s wrong with working hard for what you want?

But you probably wouldn’t have to pay that much if you were working a low-wage job. The community college offers financial aid. If you can’t figure out a way to pay for a community college, you’re too lazy to go to college. Sorry to be blunt.

A Pell Grant for students from families with limited income covers Community College.

Well put.
Students who want to go to college fairly easily can.

This is for those who don’t want to go.
Why? To provide a demand for unionized teachers- who don’t want to have to teach.
