Judge Hurley - A+
I said that if race was mentioned by the defense counsel I'd assume that he had no defense at all and that I was tired of the "race card." (The black lady sitting next to me began to recoil (as in "shrink back, in fear or repugnance")
We all left the court room. I was called back. The judge assumed I'd made up my mind that the accused was guilty. I did not argue. Though that was not true. It all depended upon what the defense argued.
The judge dismissed me from the rest of my obligation. A police officer in the courtroom gave me a nice smile as I left.
I was simply being honest.
