I can support someone who agrees with me 80% of the time.
I can support someone that strongly advocates for the 20% where we disagree.
What I can’t support is someone that SAYS they agree with me to get elected, but once elected makes excuses about why their votes don’t match their rhetoric.
It’s disingenuous of you to dismiss my outrage at being constantly mislead as being nothing more than a purity test.
Reagan’s comment about the 80/20 holds. Just don’t tell me you’re 80/20 to get elected when in reality, you’re 60/40. Or. 40/60.
