LOL, I don’t even know what that is!
From a time when we left doors unlocked.
In case you really don't know what that was it is a card that you placed in your screen door so the Ice Man knew how much ice to chip of the big block and place in your Ice Box. No one needed to be present for that to happen. Happier times for me in those days, when an ice chip was almost as good as ice cream.
My dad worked on a two man horse drawn ice wagon in Norfolk, Virginia from the time he was 15 until he was 19 and went to work for Texaco Oil. He got strong as a bull swinging that ice around. He was born in 1909.
Thought you might like to know.
But the thing I didn’t know about was 400 thread count linen. It was not about the card you placed in your screen door for the ice man.
Go back and read the posts.
Hi. I’m working on a massive update of “Harry: Money Mob and Influence”. More crooked than can be imagined.
Four Hundred Thread count linen is just a step above burlap to me. Twelve Hundred Thread Count is minimum for me. [:-)
Actually I use Sheeks, sheets they are spandex.
Let me check right quick and get back to you.
