MK Tzipi Livni (Hatnua) fired back at Jewish Home chairman Naftali Bennett on Wednesday, after Bennett mocked her and suggested, following the terrorist attack in France, that she “get on a plane to Paris to solve the problems there” and “offer the French to 'end the occupation'”.
"On this day we stand together with the French people against terrorism and against Islamist extremism," said Livni.
“Unlike Bennett, who is not ashamed to dance on the blood of innocent people to achieve political gain, thus deepening the hostility and isolation of Israel in the world, I spoke today with the French Ambassador and I expressed my condolences,” she added, firing back at Bennett.
“The attack in Paris reinforces the need for a strong international coalition against terrorism, in which we play a key role. Unfortunately, Bennett and his colleagues take us away from this coalition,” said Livni.

Wishful thinking, imho. Also stupid, because they are stuck on the two-party politics that predominate the US. There are a bunch of right-wing parties and a bunch of left-wing parties, and nobody ever gets a simple majority of the vote, not since Sharon, anyway. So they pick the two biggest parties, and think they’re analyzing anything besides their own misconceptions. The question is, who can build the biggest coalition, not who gets the most votes.
