Man, I dig it! Talk about a babe magnet.
Lost a little of the Mustang-ness on the front fascia with the corporate Ford trapezoid grill and the sweeping headlights, but still nice. Picked up a much better, hunkered down stance and a very pretty 3/4 view, the “hips” kicking up over the rear wheels, the taper of the rear window and the slope of the roof are just about perfect for a modern Mustang. Two thumbs up, and I’m not a Mustang guy by any stretch. I’ve heard that pictures don’t do them justice.
Not much resemblance with my maroon, 3-speed transmission, 6-cylinder, no AC, tinted glass, $2300, 1964 Mustang a.k.a the “secretary’s delight”.
Oh yeah, and don’t forget the extra weather stripping under the doors.
