“Land,s giver he time to learn her job. Most new employees screw up when first hired - some on here are worse than the left with their iron-fisted, lack of tolerance.”

Which new employees get 2 months of notice that they will be hired? How many jobs simply require FReeping or news watching to understand the issues?

Why is a person willing to expend so much energy campaigning, and yet couldn’t bother to understand this vote that she KNEW would occur on day one?

Couple this vote with her joining the marxist infested racist congressional black caucus and it is quite clear that she simply wants to be part of the elite ruling class. She has not a lick of interest in her constituents.

Boehner was going to win anyway

yes, but it would have been nice to see some brave congress people stand up with a protest vote anyway if only to show people what's really going on over there in DC.

Maybe ALL the spineless SOB's, worried about themselves needs to start reading the works of E. E. Hale.

Of course a good portion of them could be set to sea and NEVER be missed again.

Allen West joined the black caucus too - would you also qualify HIM as a marxist? He joined with the intentions of changing it, but failed - as will Mia Love. She will either conform to their agenda or leave the caucus altogether - most new employees are given a 90-day probationary period to learn their jobs and company rules - you aren’t willing to give a new Congress critter that same courtesy. Hopefully, you aren’t an employer! Your bitching holds no water, IMO, except to demand purity - something of which you yourself cannot possibly live up to.

Show who? We, on the Freeper board know what is going on - the average American LIV isn’t aware - and one more person voting against Boehner wasn’t going to change that. Besides the MSM and Boehner puppets are driving the talking points on this issue. Having said that - most Americans know that something is going on in DC, thus, the Republican sweep in November. So, why are you singling out Mia Love for her vote, when the other freshmen voted for Boehner as well? Sounds a little biased and sexist to me. Maybe it’s racist?

Some things that are obvious to us, here, are not so obvious to your average Joe on the street. For all they know, the overwhelmingly majority of House Representatives support Boner.

The more votes against him the better. So many people out there just go with the flow. If they think Boner is supported by a majority then they’re in!

Mia Love is just one of them that folded rather than taking a stand.

Why have a conservative TEA Party representative if they’re gonna just go along? Yes, even on things they know are unwinnable. part of this movement has to be taking a stand.

We aren’t gonna win them all but we have to go on fighting. We have to SHOW those Joes and Joan’s on the street that there is another point of view and that there are MILLIONS of us with that point if view and that its OK to think differently from the mainstream Facebook culture.

In one respect she may be right

There is ABSOLUTELY NO LEADERSHIP anywhere to be found.

Show me a Democrat or a Republican with LEADERSHIP ability.

I submit that IF there were.. then they would be attempting to LEAD.

All I see is a One Party system running a non-stop version of Kabuki theater.

I was p*ssed, too - but I see her point. We have the same situation here in WI with newly elected Glenn Grothman.

I’m glad she explained - still waiting for Glenn to clear that up as well.

We DO need players that can go the distance. It’s an uphill battle, full of landmines placed by the Socialists. It ain’t gonna be pretty, it ain’t gonna be fun, but it’s time to at least win a BATTLE once in a while, let alone the entire WAR that’s been waged against America by the Socialists.

I’m pretty sure 0bama has a LOT of horror in store for us these next 2 years. At least we have a few more players in place. *SHRUG*

Exactly. Conservatives have got to get organized. That’s the bottom line here.

“chance the possibility of Pelosi becoming Speaker again?”

Both you and Mia should have studied the issue more closely. There was no chance of Pelosi becoming speaker agiain and anyone making that claim is either lying or ignorant of the issue/process. In your case, you are a busy American living life, so you have an excuse to not be completely up to speed. In Mia’s case, that is what she was precisely elected to know!

Her purposeful ignorance is very telling on this issue!

Agreed—I heard that there was no way Pelosi, a member of the minority party, could become speaker on several news outlets.

There wasn’t a chance of Pelosi being nominated. 20 Pubs would’ve had to of voted for her.

What WOULD have happened ~ with just one more “against” vote, is that it would go to a second vote. The chances of more Cheeto defectors (potentially) increases, then. Worse case...Cheeto would still be voted....but, not Pelousy. And an even bigger message would’ve been sent...or, he would’ve lost. We’ll never know. With Daniel Webster running, things could’ve changed, quick.

Rep Louie Gohmert (one of the OTHER candidates for Speaker, Mia) explained this, brilliantly.

Exactly!!
I am so disappointed. I received several fundraising emails from her right before the election. I was tempted to donate as I don’t donate to the GOP anymore, but I am so glad I did not. I highly doubt she will stand on principle in future tough votes since she could not stand on principle on this :(

that she is not capable.

Oops, you can't sway that and survive in liberal America.
