A bit cynical, don’t you think? Public awareness is often just a simple byword away. Simplicity is sometimes the key that unlocks the door.

The "I am" meme expresses solidarity with the victim and gives the relayer a feeling of having done something, but it amounts to nothing in the way of a solution.

The solution is to take action and actually fight back. That requires identifying the enemy - a task which is currently viewed as some combination of racist and islamophobic. They’d sooner die than be thought of that way.

And where would you start, pray tell?
The pro-life movement was completely abandoned by the GOPe powers that be, albeit with their pathetic lipservice to the contrary. The only thing that kept it alive was the power of the individual conscience that said to itself “This is wrong.”
Would you wait upon your hired politicians to do what your conscience should lead you to do?
