Cuomo’s political career was deeply formed by his Catholic faith. During his famous 1984 speech at the University of Notre Dame, he said as much: “The Catholic Church is my spiritual home. My heart is there, and my hope.”

I do not want to pick on a dead man, but Cuomo was more like whitewashed tombs, which appear beautiful on the outside, but inside are full of dead men’s bones and every kind of filth. (Matt 23:27). As is his son today.

I pray for the soul of Cuomo and the repentance of his wayward son.
