John Boehner is getting revenge.

He secured his third term as speaker Tuesday afternoon, losing 25 votes on the House floor to three relatively unknown members of the House Republican Conference. But he’s already punishing those who betrayed him.

First up: Florida Reps. Daniel Webster and Richard Nugent. The pair will be booted from their spots on the House Rules Committee, according to sources familiar with the decision. Webster ran against Boehner (R-Ohio) for speaker Tuesday, and Nugent supported his fellow Floridian.

The Rules Committee is a panel appointed by the speaker, and it controls the flow of legislation to the House floor. It’s a prestigious appointment for members who are loyal to leadership.

Per Louie Gohmert on Hannity Radio Show today: Some GOP Reps got 850-1,000 calls telling them to vote against Boehner. They ignored the wishes of their constituents. RECALL THEM!!!

“The Ruling Class Oligarchy have now made it IMPOSSIBLE to ‘take over the party from within.”

That’s not true.

But it takes a lot of money.

Federal officeholders — senators and congresscritters — cannot be recalled. This has been litigated in both federal court (Idaho, 1967) and state court (New Jersey, 2013).

Boehner is behaving like Valerie Jarrett. Perhaps he’s spent too much time in her office, the traitorous PIG he is.

They also had the opportunity to CHANGE course, by sticking together, and voting the Cryer OUT....yet, only a minority did.

I expect no less of a disappointment from that group when the ‘big’ votes come to the floor

The moderate GOPe works with the hard left Democrats.
The moderate GOPe opposes the “hard right” conservative Republicans.

The hard left Democrats oppose the moderate GOPe and “hard right” conservatives Republicans.

The conservatives oppose the moderate GOPe and the hard left Democrats (since both support the positions of the hard left Democrats).

It is the conservatives in the GOP who displaced the Democrat leadership in the House and Senate. If the conservatives in the GOP are not going to have a say in the GOP leadership then the GOPe should continue to let the Democrats lead the legislature since they get to set the policies anyway.

Agreed. Politics is a bloodsport, and what Boehner is doing has been going on for decades.

Warren (Lieawatha) the Commie is a better choice for President than Bush the RINO, who knew?

Not quite.

More like, one is (on aggregate) no better than the other.

One shouldn’t expect too much from any politician or be too emotional about it.

Good luck with that.

As I’ve been saying for over a decade now, we need to burn it all down and start over.

“Working from within”? You are either high or not paying attention.

It is said that “revenge is a dish best served cold.” Millions of conservatives should sit out the next election. If a crooked politician winds up winning again, at least it wasn’t with my vote.

I don’t have a list, but it is on this site somewhere, there have been numerous articles recently detailing such, since the election. I will try to find it.

Bonehead is a communists liberal Democrat. And those in the House that supported him are equally the same communists liberal Democrats that placed an R by their name. America is a communists controlled Country and will probably never come back.

Reminds me of what one of the founders said:

a caucus of those who opposed Boehner....

That's an EXCELLENT idea. They'd have to have enough members to deprive the GOP elite of an HOR majority. It would serve to hold those bare-*ssed liars who campaigned as constitutional conservatives in line.

More like O’s white half but if you saw a picture today of Boehner it was hard to tell.
