During the last Congress, I led the fight in the House to pass conservative bills that offered real solutions to the challenges we face as a nation. Now we have a Republican Senate to join us in this endeavor. Conservatives have a real opportunity here to affect change in Washington. But in order to do so we must now be united in the fight against Barack Obama and his failed policies.
When we met as a conference on November 13th, Republicans nominated John Boehner as their candidate for Speaker of the House. No one ran against him for the position and our leadership team was elected by voice vote. Before many of those who now oppose Boehner were even politically active I was challenging him and the establishment politicians in DC. I have put my name forward in a leadership race and, like many other conservatives, was not successful in that race. I will continue to lead the charge as we push our agenda forward and will continue to hold our leadership team accountable.

I think they are Party first and self second to be honest. If it was self, they could profit as well or better than many do. Many prostrate themselves as good soldiers in the pecking order hoping to one day be elite in the elite.
And yet they will tax us. Hmmm.. What is that phrase? “No taxation without representation!” ... Now where have I heard that phrase before....?

Then she changed her mind once the dreamers flooded across the border.
A lot of congress members gave the same post after voting fotr the November 2013 Ryan Budget and 2014 Boehner Cromnibus.
She also backed Lamar and Bob Corker to some degree.

The truth is that they hate the people they depend on for votes.
The TEA movement is about ending the confiscation of our wealth for the enrichment of a few in the favored corporations and the government itself.
Supposedly a GOP interest.
But of course it’s not. They are all for the Income Tax, a Bolshevik idea; they just differ on who to give the money to.
The IRS? Nothing but Bag Men for the Congress. Put it there or the muscle will visit ya, Prole. Did Mr. Boner push to arrest Lerner and Koskinen? Nah. They work for him - they get the cash he passes out.
You can have a squad of street cops wrestle you to the ground if you try to jaw bone yourself out of the arrest. But not if you’re a Guvamint vigorish enforcer, nope, yer untouchable.
And Boner is the Spear of that reality.

I remember Marsha when she was in the TN State Legislature. She was a fantastic fighter against instituting a state income tax. In fact it was in large part due to her that the state remains free of an income tax.
This is a different Marsha. She has offered some good ideas but she cannot win from inside the GOP. Today was nothing, if not proof that it is time for a third party. The GOP is no longer relevant or viable.
I don’t live in TN anymore so she isn’t my rep. Sadly my rep also voted incorrectly today. The GOP might as well annoit Mitt to run in ‘16 and save the cash. No way I can ever vote for them again anyway.
She ran against the Speaker.
