I’m not expecting good news. If those who wish the Crying Cheeto to begone, have held votes up their sleeves, that’s one thing.... but publicly, there are only 15 Cheeto-crunchers.

Probably a safe bet. Still, lightning DOES strike from time to time. What if the coup plotters have managed to keep their forces successfully hidden? I did read that Boehner only had 130 names identified as votes going in.

And you know the Dems have a few in their pocket that will be willing to vote Boehner if it comes down to that.

The dems do get to vote don't they? Dems want Boehner and if that's what it takes, they'll do all they can to keep him.

I don't understand how that works, it will be a Republican because we have the majority but do the dems vote for their favorite Republican or do they vote present or what? I guess they need the Dems to be there for a quorum don't they? (Not asking you Laz, just anyone that knows)
