You know, I just had a thought ...
“All” of Rush’s callers are screened, “heavily” screened I presume ...
When Rush “allows” a caller to spend 10 minutes with him on the phone ...
endorsing Louis Gohmert ...
it’s as close to a “Rush Limbaugh endorsement” as you’ll ever get ...

“time” is NOT on John Boehner’s side ...

twenty years of listening,IMNVHO, Rush spent most of that 20 trying to ingratiate himself with the GOPe/Chamber of commerce. E.G., His devoted choir forgets that for years he was totally unconcerned with illegal immigration, calling it "the sign of a healthy economy."
Then there was that period with the deafness and the pills during which he was pretty much off the tracks around some bend.
Nowadays, he's much more outspoken than ever before, IMO. But let me put my prejudice on the line. I feel that "Conservative" Talk Radio is essentially negative. E.G. Totally into dishing the dirt on TeamObama, but never offering alternative Programs, Plans, or Leaders who can articulate them.
Furthermore I claim that Talk Radio probably depresses turnout, because in the daily flood of useless negativity, many "conservatives" feel so unempowered that they don't even vote. E.G., I have established that some of the biggest "conservative" (and Rush Fans) loudmouths at my VFW Bar never bother to vote and that a good number of them are not even registered.
It's a sorry political party that turns to former Rock'n'Roll DJs, who are great at selling gold bars, Sleep-Numba Beds, and personal security software to a mature white male audience, and accepts them as political philosophers.

By Monday afternoon January 5th, 2015 ... SCORES (143) of GOP House Representatives had agreed to vote for Congressman Louis Gohmert (TX Tea Party) for the next House Speaker !
By Tuesday evening, Karl Rove, Reince Pribus, Jeb Bush, Juan McCain had expressed their DEEP SORROW for their "good friend" John Boehner ...
and John Boehner's "disrespectful" treatment by the ignorant Tea Party rednecks.
A "massive" participation by the Free Republic patriot community ...
and the "hundreds" (315) of Facebook Patriots who "committed" to have local rallies in their local communities and overpasses this weekend ...
were essential to this GREAT political victory !
The "National Day of Reckoning" event had been announced by Jim Robinson (Free Republic founder) ...
and the national news media (including The Drudge Report) reported on Sunday that tens of thousands of American Patriots had braved the bitter-cold winter temperatures ...
just like George Washington at the Battle of Trenton (Christmas 1776) ...
and Gen. George S. Patton Jr's. rescue of the gallant 101st Airborne Division (Christmas 1944) during WWII's Battle of the Bulge.

after twenty years of listening, Im getting tired of that ...I agree. I have been listening since 1988.
Commentary we have plenty of--we need leaders to help us in the fight for America.

Gohmert, blah blah. Yoho, blah. All menaingless. Bohener is laughing at them. The GOPe is in total control of the party. Any “resistance” is a fantasy.

It has nothing to do with telling someone how to vote. It has to do with taking a stand. Rush’s support of those who are trying to buck Boehner is not telling them how to vote. Levin, Hannity, Beck, etc. have made it known what side they are on. Why can’t Rush just say which side he supports instead of this facade of indifference?

And yes, we, as voters who elected these clowns, have the right to tell them how to vote! They are supposed to be representing us, not the John Boehner’s of the world.

"... Facade of indifference"?
Of all things Rush is NOT, "indifferent" tho
WHO is "Speaker of the House" is one of them.

Boehner is still speaker. Talk to me in 2016.
Yes, we had a BETTER, not great, turnout in 2014. But Team Obama's base tends to stay home at midterm.
"Conservatives?" Bah Humbug! Obviously they prefer bithchin' to battlin'.
