Why don’t these same people go to Chicago and protest if life matters so much?

Just get up, leave your food on the table, and leave without paying. They can't force me to stay in an unsafe environment. That should end this pretty quick.

Your response is the rational one, which if why I think this whole thing is a protection racket. “This is a real nice restaurant you have here. It would be a real shame if a bunch of aggrieved minorities were to come here and vent there unhappiness. But for a modest donation to my I Can’t Breathe foundation, I could prevent such an unfortunate occurrence”.

I certainly wouldn’t pay for the meal; I’d even take a beatdown so the restaurant could buy me a new car.
