I have to cut my Dutch friend a little bit of slack. She was born in Holland in 1941 and there were German soldiers all over her town during her young years. But that made her grow up a pacifist instead of a fighter.

One of the best BBQ I have ever tasted came from Meshack's in Garland.

There is no place to sit. You order at a window and then leave.

A reviewer on Yelp or Google claimed that the owner threatened him with a gun when he complained, which sounds about right.

It is in the bad part of town. Come early; they close when they run out of meat. Last time, I was the last person to get meat and the folks behind me were very mad!

wow

I used to buy BBQ brisket sandwiches from an old “Red Coleman’s” convenience store in Grand Prairie TX. It was tasty most of the time.
