We were told because it was of uncertainty and possible war which would limit the supply.
Fast forward to today....
We now have mass chaos in the Middle East with Syria, ISIS, Iran, Iraq, Libya, Egypt, and Russia in Syria, etc... The world is getting close to the brink of World War III
And prices of a gallon of gas is going down???
I paid $1.60 last night in Oklahoma City.
I’m sure our adding a stable supply to the system has helped matters.
Seems we’ve been living a lie for the past 30 years put on by the “peak oil” anti-drilling leftist loons.
Drill, baby, drill!!! (While perfecting alternatives for the future.)
That’s getting close to prices I saw back in 2004.
At 9:00 am EST, the price of oil was $50.38/bbl for WTI for 2/15/15 contract.
RBOB gas for 2/15/15 was $1.3868/gallon from the refinery.
Like you I’m all for drilling. Drill baby drill.
Yeah I can actually afford groceries again. Thank you Obama...NOT
But you know he’s probably strutting around implying that he’s responsible for it.
I just spent last week going across AZ, NM, OK and Missouri and then returning.
1.99 was the most I paid and often it was 1.85 or lower.
$1.83 here
$1.83/gal here in Meridian Ms.
Wow it’s dropping faster than I ever dreamed!
I’m not sure if it will hurt Russia since they will sale more?
However, Socialist/Communist economies like Venezuela will feel the pain no doubt.
Do you think it will go under a a dollar?
1.83 here in McKinney, Texas.
$1.77 unlead / $2.84 diesel in the Austin area.
Think it’s safe to say it’s below $2 gallon in more than 2 States.
The news media predicted that by now there would be no more oil in the Earth at all , completely run out.
also the news media predicted that by now the ice caps would be melted due to global warming.
That's just 2 big lies of many from the news media perpetrated for decades :global warming and Peak oil
for decades the Media screamed “GLOBAL WARMING!”
Yep. Fracking. As far as we’re concerned the entire ME can go frack itself.
1.71 per gallon at the Costo here in New Orleans
Under a dollar? Oh, hell no. The taxes in a low tax state are 37 cents minimum. In some states the taxes are at 60 cents.
Yes it will go under a dollar per gallon this year.
Now if only I could get some hamburg for $2 Lb again.
