FYI, and if anyone cares, Andrew is not second in line to the throne...
He sits behind:
Prince Charles,
Prince William,
Prince George,
And Prince Harry
That makes him 5th in line.
By May be will be 6th.
Interesting question as to the British Royal succession; if (shudder) Queen Elizabeth and the Princes Charles and William and Harry were to all to suddenly die, all at the same time, that would make Prince George next in line for the throne, but George being a mere toddler obviously could not assume the throne due to his age. I suppose in that case Andrew would, but then wouldnt he be in that position temporarily as "The Lord Protector" and in regency until George reached the age of majority? And if Andrew was deemed unfit, would not the regency fall to his eldest daughter, the Princess Beatrice of York, she of the very silly hats?
