Your mental health professional is no longer your friend. Beware the VA if you’re a vet and beware pointed questions from your regular doctor about owning guns or “feeling depressed”.
And keep in mind that now everyone of the doctor’s notes and comments goes electronically to the IRS. And probably to other Federal Agencies such as the National Security Administration.
In September I was pruning some bushes. I was distracted by the phone and accidently clipped off the end of my left index finger.
A week or so later I had to have a small skin graft to fix it. I had surgery under anesthesia, but before that they asked me questions like “do you ever think about hurting yourself”? Iwas like “you are kidding me, if I was going to hurt myself I would not have chopped off the end of my finger”.
My bushes looked good though.
They now ask several probing questions. The nurse told me they had to.
