I agree that this is basically true.

I still feel that what eludes conservatives most on this and so many issues is mastery of language.

In this case, I think “immigration” needs to be translated to “human trafficking” and “legalized slavery.”

That is much more offensive than “immigration” or “illegal immigration.”

Conservatives should highlight the power abuse being conducted by elites on both sides.

Whether its H1-B visas to undercut American engineering students, cheap labor supply for big business, or manufacturing votes for the government class— calling it human trafficking and legalized slavery would make the process much more offensive to the general middle class.

The middle class is being systemically abused and that is probably one of the most offensive aspects of illegal immigration. The elite know that it causes wage suppression but they prefer the benefits of those profits— especially as they form themselves toward political donations of more of the same.

We need better language to attack this problem.
