Eh, The Wizard of Oz went black in 1977’s The Wiz, and it bombed so bad that it never saw the light of day again. All subsequent Oz movies have starred white actors.
That 1978 movie was made before blacks started feeling empowered, and now, with Obama and Holder and the many other black “leaders” looking for the slightest of incidents to cry racism, things could be different today.
