GOHMERT: GOP LEADERSHIP NOT ‘ON BOARD’ WITH DEFUNDING EXEC AMNESTY
Breitbart ^ | 12/29/2014 | Ian Hanchett

Posted on 12/31/2014 9:00:50 AM PST by Jan_Sobieski

Representative Louie Gohmert (R-TX) declared that Republican leaders in Congress “need to get on board” with defunding the president’s executive action on immigration on Monday’s “Hannity” on the Fox News Channel.

“Some of us wanted a contract that would include defunding the amnesty. I think that helped us win the majority in the Senate. Defund the amnesty, defund Obamacare as much as we can in next year’s legislation. And release the energy sector to provide more jobs. It’s ready. There’s ready to be an economic boom if we will stop the overregulation. Let states that have the power do the regulation. Those are things we ought to do immediately upon taking over as a new Congress. but we promised people not amnesty, but defunding the amnesty, and Republican leaders need to get on board” he said...

We look at our GOP leaders and wonder how they could "sell out" to everything that the progressive left is doing to destroy this country. The GOP leaders are cowardly and have no moral compass. In many cases they are as bad as the progressives. Perhaps the answer is here...

Revelation 17:17 For God hath put in their hearts to fulfil his will, and to agree , and give their kingdom unto the beast, until the words of God shall be fulfilled.

I hate the freaking GOP, now.

I also hate big biz —this is so weird.

That sounds like a lefty or something.

Freaky how the interests of the Tea Party and OWS have come into such close alignment on this, eh?

The GOPe has decided right leaning, conservative American’s are of no use to them any longer...they are trying to purge us out of the party and replace with illegals.

The GOP ‘leadership’ doesn’t exist. The GOP is now lead by Barack Obama and Valerie Jarrett.

It seems that many political leaders both Democrat and Republican including too big to fail corporations either practice or believe in a blend of fascism and communism. I think what you hate is totalitarianism and a kleptocracy. Correct me if I am wrong.

They are not cowardly per se, they are simply bought and paid for by the highest bidder. They no longer mind because you , the voter, no longer matter.

They’ll be back for you with more red meat button pushing next election cycle.

It was stupid to expect the GOP-e to do anything of the sort. It was Jorge Busho who started this open borders invasion in the first place. O'Dummy's just continuing what Jorge started.

Is it too late to get a refund on my votes for bush, mclame, etc?

All I can say is: it’s not going to happen. Ever.

Virtually every politician in the federal government, and most of the state governments, stands to make a ton of money by keeping the mexican border wide open.

Abolition of slavery, and the advent of the worker’s union are the reason why.

Government and business DO NOT want illegals to become full citizens. Both entities want the benefits of cheap labor, and want to pass off the social costs to legal US citizens (ie: taxpayers).

God forbid if mexico and china decided to partner up and take over the US, because if they did, we would be totally and completely screwed.

Profits at all costs has its consequences.

You are correct. A LOT of the old mainstays of my political beliefs were getting shaky, but now I'm finally discarding them.

I believe in property rights and Capitalism as much if not more than before, but I'm not sure if my former guiding stars do.

I read a long interview with the head of the American Chamber of Commerce, and the guy was gushing about the need to bring in all the illegals --he hid absolutely nothing.

I felt like I was on another planet.

I look at biz entities like G.E. or WalMart, with their GummintAsReligion rhetoric and --I hate to use this word-- it sounds vaguely like Fascism.

I hate OWS, but the words most apt to describe the trends clearly in place are, to my horror, some of the same ones used by the OWS dirtheads who poop on police cars on camera.

This is really conflicting me.

of course they are not!

this way they get the best of both worlds.. they get WHAT THEY REALLY WANT, which is amnesty, but get to pretend they are appalled by what Obama is doing, and thus get credit for supposedly opposing it.

It’s a win/win for them!

Hmmm, at least half of the conservatives we elect go wobbly or full rino.

No democrat rep or senator ever turns conservative while in office.

It would appear the institution of congress itself affects people in a leftward way.

It is way past time for the states to reform congress, bring back state appointed senators, re-federalize the imperial city that devours our freedoms.

Article V NOW.

They’re not rudderless. They’re stearing their boat in the exact direction they want to go.

I just wish one congressman would stand up on the house floor and ask Boner to his face and in front of the world “Why the hell are you so in bed with obama? Do you care to tell us exactly what he has on you or do we need to hire private investigators to do a little digging?”
