Back in the USSR, the Soviet citizen was quite adept at deciphering the code published in Pravda. They knew that on its face, an article was nothing but lies. But they also knew that within the article was the truth, or part of it, if you could decipher the code.

You’re right. The use of the term “alleged” should be in reference to the person or people who may have committed the crime, assault.
The beating did occur, a fact. Again, misuse of the language is common today.

Good column - and it isn’t just blacks. The same could be said about homosexuals, feminists, illegals. All those groups have found a way to push their agenda, the whites, the males, the Christians have not.
The question is, why?
