At least Hannity did us the favor of publicly outing Gowdy.

We'll be looking for it JimRob. It's good to see you at the helm of FR, steering her towards conservative activism. Full speed ahead!

I hope to be putting up some info tonight or tomorrow on a grassroots/rank and file effort to dump Boehner. Will post it in breaking soon as I can.

Sean Hannity did himself and conservatives no favor by promoting someone who is unwilling. Hannity just weakened a much needed and urgent campaign to oust Boehner.

Math says only 20 Conservative members needed to deny Boehner the position and 16-18 are talking now of voting against Boehner with new Conservative members to join next week.

Hannity should have had his research staff combing for a willing Conservative to be an alternative to Boehner or he should have left the announcement until at least 20 members abstain from voting for Boehner, then announce a willing replacement.

Gompert is likely a vote against Boehner and a willing candidate for Speaker.

As we’ve been saying all year and last, Boehner must go.

If Boehner gets the nod again, it will be a huge blow to Conservatives. Boehner will be emboldened to think Conservatives can be ignored or hunted as game.

She would be an awesome voice in a high visibility position should Hillary/Warren either run for president.

They wouldn’t be able to whine about being ‘girls’ attacked by the boys.

Gowdy has been in the Benghazi chair for a while now and so far not a whole lot of anything from him or his committee.

I am not sure I would trust Gowdy with anything except to promote himself.

Boehner could have easily introduced a stopgap funding bill that would have funded all of the Federal Government until March 1, 2015 thereby giving the New Congress a chance to get seated before deciding funding and defunding priorities.

Boehner robbed the new members of the chance to make a difference. Now they are all going to have to face their constituents for a full year and explain why promises were not kept.

Boehner knew what he was doing. He did it because he has always sucked up to PAC funding coming from the likes of the USCOC.

I agree 100%, Gowdy’s got nothing to show on Benghazi except he got himself a chairmanship.

I wouldn’t be surprised if the thinks it’s all about him.

John J Duncan-TN would be OK also. You don’t hear much about him but he’s one of the more Conservative members of congress.

There again. If they fear DC more than their district voters, they need to be replaced.

We shall soon expose the DC Elites.

I haven’t watched Hannity in a while. Does he still have that POS Rove on his show?

There again. If they fear DC more than their district voters, they need to be replaced.

Yet another argument for term limits.

Without term limits, the primary objective of the Congressional leadership is to preserve its own primacy. The Boehners, McConnells, Reeds and Pelosis accrue power for its own sake.

Under the circumstances, it's no mystery why both parties are saddled with the worst leadership in recent history.

It might work better of they all vote for Pelosi and then we have real gridlock.

Actually, that could happen. If enough refused to vote for Boehner, that would give the Dems the majority vote ( remember the Speaker is voted on by the whole House ). So , if the Dems put Pelosi up as their candidate, she would win.

We don’t deserve a conservative Speaker because we don’t have enough conservative members to get one.
We DO have enough conservative members to get a much better Speaker than Boehner though.

Scalise would have made a good candidate, but Boehner’s blocked that route.
Hensaerling was mentioned as a possibility at one time.

I determined it would be best just to tell my congressman that Boehner is bad for the country and the caucus and that I will blame him if Boehner was re-elected Speaker.
I even suggested he would make a good compromise candidate himself.
Boehner’s got to go. Even another liberal would do better after seeing the lesson of conservatives removing Boehner.

Only on days that have a "y" in them.
