If Mitt was so afraid of them he couldn’t campaign effectively then, there is no reason to think he’d be any better this time.

JEB is republican royalty. Mitt is only an elite. If JEB is doing well, Mitt would be rising above his station to go after JEB. Donors for Mitt would dry up and the monetary blowback would be severe. It could even damage his business dealings. Mitt may well want it, but if JEBBY wants it, Bush/establishment donor support will crush him and Romney knows it. Let NJ Fats earn the ire of republican royalty. Mitt plays by the honor code. Only attack conservatives, not a member of the royal family.

I agree fully. Many here don’t and will cave, again, before the election.

During the media hype over his nice deeds and “charity” giving, some of us looked into that, and it was rather amazing, it was always Mormons, even the photos of him at a fire damaged house in San Diego, during the big fires, he wasn’t there to help the neighborhood rebuild, he was helping a fellow Mormon
The runaway teen that he shut down the business to find her and her boyfriend, that was a Mormon operation (for a rich Mormon), he never did such a thing for anyone before or since, and on and on, the millions given to “charity”? It all goes to Mormonism and is part of his REQUIRED 10% minimum that he must pay to have full church membership, and to eventually become a God.
