If the incoherent babbler was the “father”, he was only interested in getting the little s**t on YouTube. That part you could understand. Dollar Store needs to press charges or this will just be another “new school” thang to do.”

I got the impression that the babbler was the one who put the kid up to it so he could get it on YouTube. Trying to incite the little kids to have their own Ferguson type of mayhem.

One time at Walmart, two little toddler to preschool age kids were climbing all over the dog food. If one had fallen, the store would have been sued big time. They’d been running wild for a while and no parent in sight. I’d had enough and told them to quit climbing all over people’s food and to show me their cart so I could stomp all over their food. Mama came around the corner but didn’t say a word. I continued to give them the evil eye as they quickly scurried off.

Had that been my kid

Thing is, that wouldn't have been our kids. Don't know what's wrong with that kid but he obviously has no fear. I cannot imagine what kind of adult he will be.

"After watching that video, that's your big take away? That's what wrong in that video?"

The fact that the guy with the camera has poor speaking skills was only part of the problem that I saw. Another aspect of it was his apparent delight and amusement as he documented the situation. 'Just wait'll I post this to YouTube...'

I would've been far more impressed, had he put the phone down and told the kid to knock it off, like the one who ultimately ushered him out the door.

As far as I'm concerned, this isn't about black and white, it's about right and wrong. Anybody who ignored or approved this kid's action should be ashamed.

He’ll grow up to be a “gentle giant”...

Something to think about - would a boy with this lack of fear of “the right thing to do”, when he gets older, restrain himself from rape if the opportunity arose?

Quite a long time ago, I was in the local courthouse in the vehicle registration renewal line along with my mom and about ten other people, just standing there waiting and minding my own business (double-checking I had my insurance card, etc.). There was a woman with a little girl of about 7 years in line in front of me. My mom and I started having a conversation that was funny, and we were both enjoying it, and then all of a sudden I felt a very sharp pain and the rebounding throbbing afterward in my right shin! I looked to see what the heck had caused it, thinking maybe one of the waiting line posts had fallen and struck my leg (now those things are all-metal and heavy, so would’ve made quite a BANG). The pain struck AGAIN, but this time I noticed that the little girl...in front of me... was drawing back her leg with all her might, her feet shod in cowboy boots, to kick me FOR THE THIRD TIME...
Locking eyes with her, I gave her the sternest look I could possibly muster. She cowered in front of her mother, ever so often looking to see whether I was still watching her. I was relieved when her mother finished her business and exited with her daughter, and I had a bit of a limp when I approached the desk to pay my renewal fee.
In times before that, my only ‘traumatic’ experiences in registration renewal was forgetting my insurance card...that time, it was definitely one for the books!

:(

the kid doesn’t know if his father is his uncle or if his uncle is his father. His grand mother doesn’t know either or if she does, won’t tell

his mother is in jail and can’t be reached

The kid looked Asian to me, but I only watched once. I’ll re look— altho I don’t want to. If it was my kid, he would have been stooped after the first item was tossed—— and it would have been put back on the shelf immediately— by the kid, and then he would have to answer for his actions. But he’s not my kid. Too bad for him.

He was thrown out in the proper manner, I would've been there sooner to do it though.
Of course he falls down outside as if he's a victim or something. Kid needs to be
beaten to a pulp, then whipped again, then again if he wants more!

Tough love, sure. Beats prison though.

jit

The term jit is originally prison slang. It just means somebody younger than you. However, it is most often used to refer to young thugs/wannabe thugs or other punky kids. For instance, you wouldn't call your 10-year-old cousin a jit.

If you leave your car there, those jits will steal your spinners.

LOL

Next time you go to the grocery store, notice how many people let their small children sit in the main body of the carts. Their filthy shoe soles-—and possibly leaking diapers-—are all over the area meant for us to place our groceries, which end up on our table/in our pantries and refrigerators.

Staged, or at least complicitly filmed/directed. The camera operator could have put a stop to it in a heartbeat.

beat my a$$ and then returned me to my parents who would have thanked that person and beat my a$$ again.

Same here, 1950s.

Unfortunately, those days are gone forever. In most jurisdictions now, the parents would sue, and the cops jail, and Child Services confiscate the kids of anyone who would even raise their voice, let alone hand, to such a brat. The kid would be sent to therapy to treat the trauma to his psyche such an "outrageous" thwarting of his expressive rights would engender.

One kid turned over a woman’s shopping cart then stood there laughing. Wrong move. Woman grabbed him and kid ended up head first in the eggs.

Thanks for making my night 8-)

Yes, I think about that every time I go to the store. It’s disgusting to know there is urine, poop and untold numbers of germs and viruses just waiting for your lettuce and tomatoes, etc. Might as well just lick the entire cart. No, I’m not exaggerating. If someone invented a personal foldable cart, it would sell like hot cakes. I’d be willing to be a grocery store has more nasties than a public restroom. Well, yeah, groceries have public restrooms and you know the employees or customers aren’t washing their hands.

I have never seen behavior like that before, much less the stuff in the video. If I was the parent, I would be mortified - the more so that it made it to the Internet. If one of my children actually kicked you...

From what I remember, the little girl’s mother wasn’t watching her very well, per the many times the girl strayed from her mother’s side (and view) while they were in line. I know it’s fairly boring for a child that age, but pu-leeze!—kiddo—don’t use it as an excuse to attack someone!

:(
