He had to leave Louisiana because he didn’t like its politicians ?
That’s taking political obsessions too far.
If the bad politicians were making life uncomfortable on some concrete level, such as there was high unemployment and it was hard to find work, or taxes were too high, that’s one thing, but it seems rather fanatical to put such personal weight on politics without such a personal impact.

It appears Louisiana has moved past edwards and duke. They’ve dumped crooks, klansmen and democrats.

It just looks like Erick Erickson parading some Politically Correct sensitivity for his pals to admire.

This sort of posturing is a big deal among ‘center-right’ media figures. While making a career out of being Establishment Conservatives they have the constant need to demonstrate to their liberal buddies that they aren’t nasty bigots like, you know, conservatives.
