I thought they were powered with Pratt & Whitney PW4000 series high bypass turbofans.

Nope, the two Air Force Ones are powered by GE CF6-80c2b1 engines. Here’s a funny story for you. I was given a task one night to size the 747 nacelle for a -80 engine. Old school drafting board work, lol. Apparently I did a pretty good job, wink.

The 747 is available with PW, GE or Rolls Royce engines, but AF1 is GE powered
