North Korea's Internet, 3G Mobile Network 'Paralyzed': Report

North Korea's Internet and 3G mobile networks were paralyzed again on Saturday evening, China's official Xinhua news agency reported, with the North Korean government blaming the United States for systemic instability in the country's networks. Internet connectivity had not returned to normal as of 9:30 p.m. local time (7:30 a.m. ET), Xinhua said, citing reporters in the country that had confirmed the situation over fixed telephone systems.

Analysts at global Internet performance firm Dyn Research also reported that North Korea appeared to be suffering another countrywide online blackout. "This time, there wasn't the hours of routing instability that presaged the outage like last time," said Doug Madory, Dyn's director of Internet analysis. "If an outside force took it down again, it did it more efficiently than the previous incident."

The report comes after the North Korean government called Obama a "monkey" and blamed the United States for enduring instability in the country's Internet infrastructure, after the U.S. blamed North Korea for hacking attack on Sony Studios.

"... the North Korean government (is) blaming the United States for systemic instability in the country's networks."

Good idea, Barry. Try out 'net neutrality' on the NORKS before you stuff it down our throats...

While I'd love to know who it really is who brought down the "NorkNet", I'm thinking may not be who we'd expect.

Wouldn't it be fascinating if we learned that neither the US or the Norks were involved in either action, that both sides were totally played by "other interested parties"?

I’m wondering if this is going to become a frequent practice of one nation shutting down the internet service of another nation. If it can be done to North Korea, which I have no problem with, it can be done to us. Am I right or wrong?

My money is on the genius who invented the Internet in the first place.

Does anybody know what the moron has been up to lately since he's been out of the crazed sex poodle and save the world from global warming gigs?

Has North Korea assisted with Iran’s nuclear program? If so, perhaps Israel did it. Stuxnet Part II ?

The sad thing is I'd be more inclined to believe almost anyone else regarding the matter than anything the obama regime states....

It is true that nothing makes them (Zero and MSM) focus more than NK calling Obama a monkey. Not sure if this particular 'slur' kicked it into high gear, though.

One thing could be certain. He can't wave it off as he did with others, and it WILL interrupt his golf game.
