Doctors can’t be expected to work for free.
But the Feds are too cheap to compensate them for what delivering quality medical care actually costs.

Unfortunately, that’s not what Commies think about the subject. What is happening in places where there is sufficient income to support it, is concierge medicine.
I had a recent visit with a relative who works in finance in San Francisco. They now have a concierge clinic housed in the building where he works that for $150 a year, will see you for routine medical needs and refer you to others who are part of the concierge network for specific care (with a much reduced fee schedule). When doctors unburden themselves of the Federal and State governments, the costs of providing quality medical care fall like rocks. Unfortunately the poor will be the ones to suffer as they are forced to use Medicaid and Medicare Advantage where the government can and will strangle the providers to try and stretch their bucks (and to also make sure the aged start dying off sooner because they cost too much). Just think, Ezekiel Emanuel the “godfather of Obamacare” thinks 75 is the optimum age to “move on.” But when you look at the Congress, you can see that they don’t like the idea based on the number of them who are now well over that magic age.
All part pf the plan, comrade.
Recall, one of the basic points of communism is that one is paid based on their worth to society. E.G. a train engineer may be paid the same as a doctor.
And neither will be paid as good as politicians who are the de facto ruling class.
