The only reason it was ‘a bloody mess’ is some idiot ripped the IV lines out of him. But telling people that would make it less agenda filling.

I think the same thing. He died in pain?? Bet his victim died in pain and LOTS of distress too.

For a good example of a botched execution, see Kenneth McDuff.

In the 1960s McDuff kidnapped, brutally raped and murdered a teenage girl after murdering her boyfriend and her cousin. He was convicted and got sentenced to the death penalty for each murder. His execution was botched when the Supreme Court threw out the death penalty.

He was released after serving 20 years in prison. He promptly resumed raping and murdering women. He was caught, convicted and again got the death penalty. This time his execution was not botched and he was successfully executed.

Kenneth McDuff is also a good example of why we need a death penalty.
