I do not think people realize how very vulnerable we are to Russian nuclear blackmail.
I do not think any leg of the so called nuclear triad is secure.
I doubt the land based missiles would/could be launched in time or could survive a preemptive attack by Russian MIRVs.
I believe traitors and spies in Obama’s administration keep the Russians updated on the exact position of all our ballistic missile submarines. Knowing those exact locations the Russian could easily take them all out.
Without the other two legs of the triad and with Russian air defense on full alert; it would be suicidal to use our bombers against the Russians.

In simple terms if Putin demanded the immediate total nuclear disarmament of the US and it’s Allies, there is nothing we could do but surrender.
Given who is President and his true feelings about America; simply the threat of any of the above would sufficient for him to surrender our nuclear weapons.
Once those weapons are gone, we would be defenseless and for all intensive purpose under Russian control.
When still a Senator Obama gave speeches and and offered his support to groups advocating unilateral total US nuclear disarmament, and the naive idea that at some later point the Russians and Chines would voluntarily follow our “wise” lead.
What really scares me is this may have been Obama and his Communist supporters endgame plan all along.

I believe we are subject to Russian blackmail because of who we have in the White Hut. 0bama is clueless, easily manipulated, does not see a larger strategic or diplomatic picture, and because of that does not pursue a consistent or coherent policy, and most importantly, in a crisis, he will hesitate and back down. Because he’s a wimp.

Putin knows all of this. Oddly enough, it’s really the Saudis who are giving Putin’s Russia the most grief, not us. But the Saudis cannot do it without our support, and despite that 0bama has moslem leanings, in a crisis he’s going to fold. No doubt in my mind.

Then why doesn’t Putin do it?

If he could, he would.

But he can’t and he knows he can’t, so he won’t try.

Obama bumbles along, but Putin is all bravado, very little substance, and is seriously insecure. He has cronies and hangers-on who he pays to adore him (see the billion dropped on his sicophants before the Olympics). Putin has to ride around with his shirt off to appeal to the peasants. The Russian economy is in the toilet and about to get worse.

Russia is a mess, and Putin helped make it that way. Their people are mentally crippled from decades of Communism and instead of talking about their problems, he talks about how Russia is a big proud bear, because he caters to the lowest common denominator.

He wouldn’t need all his bravado and pomp if he could think his way out of things.

He and Russia remind me of the movie Idiocracy. None to bright, living on whatever the flashy TV ads tell them to do.

Putin is incredibly dangerous, but not because he’s a brilliant tactician. He’s a bully leading a nation full of drunks, addicts, morons, and continue men.
