I think I'll start doing that...for everything...except Christmas.

Think about this, though. The origin of the word holiday, of course, is holy day
So New Year’s Day, a catholic feast day, Christmas certainly fit. Halloween definitely not. And then there are federal holidays. But Christmas is a holiday.
