Kicy Motley, the director of the Brooklyn community affairs unit working for New York City mayor Bill de Blasio, has a history of making anti-cop statements, and Rachel Noerdlinger, the former chief of staff to de Blasio’s wife, lived with a convicted killer who has expressed a deep dislike for police officers.
It now appears that they are planning to storm Times Square on New Year’s Eve.

Yep and, for all we know, the (likely low IQ) untrained perp may have been trying to shoot the cop without knowing he had to take the safety off and/or perhaps even not knowing (or forgetting) he had to chamber the first round from the magazine. But it would take just a second to remedy any forgetfulness, so the cop was right to fire in self defense.
In the case of these YUTES, we are not dealing with special operators.

Huh. I just always assumed you were a teenager when you turned 13 and a man when you turned 18.

Not on the current MSM style sheet. A “Teen” is Negro and the status starts at about 16. Below that a black perp is a “child.”
I have the US Government on my side...when I was a Naval Dependent, I gained access to the teen club when I was 13...:)

Doesn’t it seem odd to you, how many of these would-be “cop killers” *aren’t* taking the “first shot”?
And yet, for merely possessing a firearm (”he’s got a gun!”) they are immediately assumed to also possess murderous intent.
Logic dictates that in some of the cases, the non-cop civilian may have intended to kill the cop-civilian in cold blood.
It also dictates that in the remaining, the cop-civilian lies and murders a non-cop civilian in cold blood.
All we know is that Person A shot and killed Person B. It is not the government uniform, bu the circumstances of the shooting which render the shooting legitimate or confirm it to be murder.
If someone points a gun at this non-cop citizen, I am going to assume they wish to kill me and do all that is within my power to kill them first.

Of course, if someone points a gun at you first, and happens to be wearing a magical government costume at the time, you will be spun as a vicious cop killer should you attempt to defend yourself from the individual who first threatened your life.
And as you well know, logic dictates that a percentage of these cases involve the scenario above—a government employee claiming a threat where there was none, and blaming the victim of the crime for the alleged threat.
Be careful what you defend or justify-—those who put on a magical government costume should be held to a much higher standard than those who do not don said costume-—not treated as though they are retarded children who can never be held responsible for their actions.
I can’t think of the last time I heard a construction worker, farmer, rancher, truck driver, electrical power line repairman, garbage man, iron or steel worker, roofer, pilot, flight engineer, fisherman or logger whine about how hard, under-appreciated, and deadly their jobs are.
