People would freak to find our Internet is easy to take offline. Most of the backbone is carried by only a few carriers. Think of taking out even ISPs like Comcast, AT&T, Verizon, Dish, DirectTV, Charter, and a handful of others and that is 95% of the country.

Did you get picked on a lot as a kid? You seem to live in constant fear of upsetting evil leaders.

I never believed it was NK for a minute. Couldn’t believe it when our government started pointing fingers.
Now this.
I fully expect Susan ‘talkshow’ Rice & John ‘effin’ Kerry to be announcing unilateral ‘normalizing’ of relations with North Korea on Christmas Day...
(I wish that were /s)

No. But I’ll bet you’ve been bullying since your playground days.

No, I’m the sheepdog type, not afraid of bullies, and stronger than them.
I’m more a Reagan type, I think submitting to bullies only makes them more likely to do grown into a greater threat.

There is a difference between submitting to bullies and antagonizing them unnecessarily.
It is unwise to stick your hand in a rattlesnake hole.
I think pride (the bad kind not the good kind) should take a backseat to commonsense and diplomacy. Some of these battles are like a poison pawn in chess — hard for human nature to resist but often deadly.
Pride that is patriotism excepted.

I should add that I think you can err in either direction. That’s where careful assessment, cool heads, and WISDOM are vital.
There is a time for everything.
On your side, I think we should take every means possible and wipe those freaking serial killer psycho ISIS criminals off the face of the planet. Yes, there is a time for that response.
