I open doors for women, pull out their chairs and offer them seats on the subway. If a woman doesn't like that, then that's her problem, not mine.

I still do this. I can't take credit for it but the best answer if a women objects is "Well, I'm not doing it because you're a women, I'm doing it because I'm a gentleman"

I don’t recall where I heard it, but used that very line when opening a door for a “womyn” who was offended.
